Why is that my Wifi on LG LS720 doesnt work, Samsung Ring does

LG LS720 doesn't get wifi connection anywhere but my bf's Samsung Ring connects almost everywhere, please help. Mine is 4G his-3G. We are both on virgin mobile unlimited plan and I don't know what the deal is
