Why is this censored?

I tried to make my title something different and I got censored! I tried making it this: "G1 Modder/Tester" but it switches "Mod" to "***".

Why is "Mod" censored in my title? I got around it by replacing the "o" with a zero

A crap shot in the dark would be that AF wants to reserve the word "mod" and its variations for board moderators, and avoid any potential confusion about who is who.

This is probably it. They have board moderators here, so they probably censor anyone trying to use "Mod" in their title as it can be confusing for forum members and guests.
