Why my galaxy s8 is not connecting to 2g network?

My galaxy s8 is not connecting to gsm gprs edge network even i forced it to 2g only and then it says Emergency call only.
I already tried by changing the phone and other phone connects 2g and 3g very well. I'm in Pakistan and on Ufone network.
Anybody can help?

Yes ... because in pakistan every network supports 2g .
I've also checked it with changing the sim card into another phone...
 
I assume this is a G950FD (global dual SIM model). If it isn't do tell us what model it is.

That should support 2G in both SIM slots, but have you tried swapping slots just to be sure? I assume also that the phone isn't locked to a different network.
 
Did you check with your local operator? They should know whether your specific phone can function with their 2G network.

Yes i tried swapping by slots but same issue... and its not network locked because the other sim card is working flawleslly...
Its 950FD model...
