The guys at Verizon told me there was...but there isn't. You have to download one of the keyboard apps to be able to type in Japanese. This is mind boggling that it's not included natively when you have other keyboards from Hebrew to Swahili included natively. Japan is the 3rd largest economy in the world and Google can't include a Japanese keyboard in Android? I'm sure they sell phones in Japan so they must have the programming already in Android phones sold in Japan.
Wife is trying to decide if this a deal breaker and she returns phone w/in our 14 day remorse period. I suppose we'd get an iphone instead for her so we'd still stay w/ Verizon but it'd be a huge PITA since I bought the phones from Wirefly.
We both bought Dinc2s and I'd like to keep mine but I'm not sure how that's going to affect our plan and contract because I can't exchange the Dinc2 for a iphone through Wirefly, I can only get the iphone directly from Verizon.
