Why not do BYOT?

So ibget the tablet they had flopped but why not just do bring your own tablet like they do with the phones? Is there a reason they are not doing this?

Interesting I saw the tablet disappear from their website so I never thought to look at the plans. My mistake. Do you think you could use the sim cards they would use in something like one of the android head units they sell online or are they device locked like with the phones?

I know it's possible for carriers to tell if a SIM is in a phone or tablet, not sure what Metro would do though...

If if I am not mistaken metro pcs adds a fee for increasing mobile hotspot/tethering with your cell device. Thus allowing a tablet, laptop, etc to connect to the internet pairing with your phone. Which I am not willing to do because I have an iPhone that goes dead often. The battery useage will be astronomical. I need a dedicated sim for my iPad.
