Why removed adobe flash player?

Hi there! I just bought an Toshiba excite 7.7 inches and a week later found an update to android 4.1.1 honeycomb but they removed the adobe flash player function so now I can't watch some videos that require it. Why they remove it and what can I do to watch videos again?

Adobe stopped supporting flash on android

Look here Archived Flash Player versions and you can download and install the last Flash version for android which should work.
