Why so few android magazines newspapers?

I have recently bought an Asus Infinity TF700. The one thing I unfortunatly have noticed is that almost all magazines and newspapers that have a digital subscription come only in Apple format. Almost none have an android subscription. Is this only because android comes in many different sizes and shapes and Apple doesn't? Are there any magazines and newspapers that come in android format and which are the best?

or the unofficial one that offers better offline syncing

and at the opposite end of the news spectrum i also read the daily mail
