why such poor quality musical instr. apps?

Is their a weakness in the droid hardware that can be blamed for the lack of even halfway decent guitar or piano apps? All the apps I tried are laggy and lack polyphonic abilities. My touch has some really great apps. Is the iphone/itouch musically superior to the droid? Can anyone shed a little light on this subject?

Like the old saying goes ... if you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the problem. So get on the stick, and write an amazing musical instrument app. Please post again once it's on the Market. Oh, ... and please make it free. God forbid we should have to pay for quality apps. :)

Thanks for volunteering. I thought you'd never show up! :)

I use Musical Pro for just playing out some ideas before doing serious work on my PC midi setup (Sonar and a ton of VST synths) and although it doesn't set the world on fire it gets the job done. I have seen a couple of Youtube videos of ipod based apps that blew me away but I am sure they will trickle down to android.

So joe, if I complain about the quality of My car i should build my own? You must be joking right? I am not a code writer. If I were I would write my own. It is a bit late in my life to learn how to code. Why am I part of the problem? So, anyone that does not make what he uses is part of some problem? That makes no sense. I never said I wanted the apps for free.
You should find something constructive to do with your time.
