Why wont my apps work on the road

When i am not home and i am on the road non of my apps work. I have plenty of bars. My pandora wont work nor will my facebook. Basically any app that requires data will not work and i only bought the phone yesterday. SOmeone please help. Is there a setting or something. Seems like a good phone. Samsung galaxy centura

Hi, welcome to AF. Most devices have a setting to enable/disable mobile data. It is possible that your Samsung is set to disabled. There is a separate setting for WiFi which, if enabled, would explain why everything works at home.

Again, most devices these days have a user guide on board or downloadable from the web which will help you. I think you will find yours here. :-

Some devices have settings built in that can allow them to only work on your home network and will show as roaming otherwise. Does your phone show it is roaming?
