Help Why won't the square credit card app work with the dart?

is there any app or combination of haggard hijinx that can allow me to processess credit card payments with my Samsung Dart?

It could also be the version of Android.

There are some apps that will not work with the Dart because it has Froyo (2.2), but the same apps will work on my Samsung Admire which has Gingerbread (2.3.4).

You can run Gingerbread on the t499 with Cyanogenmod, and that is not the issue.
