Why would you password protect your wedding website?

First I found this couples wedding website by searching their name on google and the link gave me a password protected wedding website and I was able to click cache on the page, then a month later a couple days ago I search and all I find for their website is no information is available for this page. Why is this. Then today I google it and it doesn't even come up at all. Do you think they had the settings as public or password protected but still searchable at first but then changed it? And why did it first say no information is available and now nothing comes up? And now I see the search result again saying no info available. Did they change it to searchable again? Why does it come up now but say no info available? Do you think they password protected it at all because of me? And it was my understanding that if you password protect a wedding website or any website it wont come up in google search. Why does it still come up in google search but say no info available? And what does it mean when google comes up with a page that says no info available where normally you would see info and a cached page? Before it used to be cached and now it says no info available. I know they didnt take the site down because I can still get to it through their registry.

Can you bring up the main website for this wedding site?
If so you could search from there...

Most of us don't want our entire private lives to be publicly accessible. Good on them for securing their page like that.
If they're friends or acquaintances of yours and you want to access to their page, just ask them. Odds are they'll welcome you to share their joyous event.

Do you think they password protected it because of me? The groom is someone I asked out a while ago and he turned me down saying I was his friend but then didnt act like a friend

Do you think it needs to be protected from you?

Most likely it's just the way the photographer publishes his/her wedding albums. Give the bride and groom full access and then allow them to share with specific people. Nobody wants a picture of their crazy uncle doing the chicken dance on the internet. ;)

Well relationship politics are way beyond what a help site targeting Android usage is even remotely able to delve into. Details on your back history with both the groom and bride, and their families and their friends, are something that's much more of one-to-one conversation so anything you read here is mostly shallow opinions.
So could it be because of you? Possibly but not probably. More than likely they or someone they know eventually realized their page was publicly accessible so at that point they locked it down accordingly. But again, that's all just speculation and guessing without anything to back it up.

When I got married windows 93 was all the rage and the world wide web was still in its crawling stages and the only person I knew with a cellphone was the mother n law (some government issued brick constantly needed charging device)
My wife created the first official family website in 1997

There are also "shamers" who troll around FB.
"you look like a cow in that gown" "why did you do it that way"

Plenty of mommy and fat shamers around. Who needs them?

Years ago, you did your wedding your way.

Windows 93?? I think I missed a step somewhere. I remember DOS, windows 3.1, and then I remember windows 95. But then my memory sure ain't what it used to be. I guess I am just gonna stick with my rock-solid Windows ME machine ;)

My mistake kind of its windows 95 and DOS 3.0 we have the disk still. We also have some kind of windows disk that has 88-89 on it not sure exactly its extremely old and faded. My wife has box full of disk drives a lot of them are Microsoft/Windows just can't read the labels anymore
