My predictive text is stupid, and I don't know why. For example, normally it would type the word it'll from me just pressing 4 8 5 5, but I used the buttons to type the word gull once, and now it is constantly the phone's first suggestion, no matter how many times I've typed it'll since!
Sometimes it'll randomly start a word with a capital letter mid sentence too, all because of the predictive text being gay. For some reason at the start of a sentence it'll sometimes stay in capitals for more than the first letter too, as if I'm typing too fast for it to revert to lower case in time.
It also sometimes forgets to default to predictive too, which is annoying. I'm using the standard HTC sense 2.2 keyboard if it helps, though these quirks were there on 2.1 too.
