Help Wi-Fi is not working

Hi! I checked the wi-fi in this phone with more than 5 wi-fi networks (1 with password, and 4 open wi-fi networks), it just showing message like Connecting, Obtaining IP Address, and these lines are repeating. But nothing happens, and hence I am not able to access any of those. Could some one help me in this?
 
Doesn't sound good if it can't connect to open networks.

Try dialing *#*#4636#*#* and see if the test menu will open up. You will be able to see if you're actially getting an IP address or not.
