WI-FI / Staic IP address / proxy server

Hi all,

Re; Motorola Dext

I need to connect to a network that uses static IP addresses and uses a proxy server for internet access.

I can set the static IP address OK, connect to the network OK, but need to use a proxy server.

Is this possible? Can it be set up to be automatic for this particular network or would I have to ( if at all possible) have to set the proxy server in the browser each time?

More relevant tho', can the type of network/internet connection I describe, be set up to work with the Motoblur & Facebook apps that are std on the Dext.
