wi-fi switch apps

I've found two great apps for controlling the wi-fi without having to go into settings. I tried installing both of them (one at a time), but it doesn't show up. It says to long press the home button to add it, and I did. Didn't do anything. Any suggestion? I really want a switch.

Are they widgets? Do you need to long press a homescreen, select widget, then look for them in the list of available options?

Do you have the app names? I can have a look for you.

Hello El. Yeah, they seem to be widgets, and yes I did the long press n all that, but no luck. The names of the apps:

- wifi onoff
- wifi toggle widget

Both are free :).

1st one works no problem. There are loads called WiFi Toggle Widget though, so I can't be sure I'm installing the right one :p. Regardless, it works too.

Do they appear in your list of installed apps? Settings - Apps - All?
