Widget for reminders

I have a terrible memory. My N series Nokia used to do this so I hope there is something similiar for Android -

I need a nice looking widget that I can put on my first homescreen that will show me calender appointments up to 2 weeks in advance. The 1x4 HTC calender widget on my Hero only shows events for today and tomorrow. I have tried Astrid but the widget is ugly. Are there any others? I would ideally like it to use the width of the screen and allow me to scroll through events.

Thanks.

i use calwidget myself

very customizable look (colours, including alpha) and the layout is brilliantly tight

scrolling thru events isn't possible atm, but all the different sizes are available (up to 4x4)

the dev also seems to be quite active at updating it and fixes stuff quickly after a bug report email

Try S2 Calender Widget. It has various widget sizes (2x1, 2x2, 3x3) and is easily customized. There is a free and donate version available.

Hey that's great! I've set it to be completely transparent. Looks nice below the clock on my homescreen and not too 'in your face'. Thanks :)

I'd second this recommendation. Not only is it flexible in the size of the widget, but when you touch the widget, you have the option of an agenda popping up and allowing you to scroll through it.

i like pure calendar widget. it has various sizes, can be transparent, and can show your corporate calendar and google calendars all on the same space. i think it costs a buck or two, but i like it the best of all the ones i tried.

Pure Calendar is EXCELLENT for displaying your calendar.

I also use "Remember The Milk" for To-Do lists, especially repeating tasks like paying monthly bills!!

i prefer astrid for tasks. its robust and free and syncs with RTM. pure calendar widget can sync with astrid too, although I don't use the feature.

RTM costs more money than i care to spend when there are other apps that can do what it does for free.
