Widget for stock music player?

The stock Android music player is perfectly acceptable and will send track information to a Bluetooth connected car stereo, which is an important feature to me.

Unfortunately, the widget isn't very pretty and I don't like the black background at all. It rather spoils the look of the home screen on my shiny new S4, which I have taken so much trouble to prettify.

I have tried Plug In Music Widget but it didn't work properly (the track names and album art seemed to randomly appear and disappear).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a widget for the stock music player that is capable of having a transparent background?

Alternatively (and preferably) does anyone know how to get PlayerPro (my music player of choice) to send the track info over a Bluetooth connection?

You try turning on AVRCP in Player Pro?
Settings -> Music library -> AVRCP support under Notifications.
Never having heard of AVRCP I hadn't but I have now and it worked perfectly.

Thank you very much. That is exactly what I was hoping for. I prefer PlayerPro as a player and I like its widget. The lack of track information was the only drawback and thanks to your help, that is now solved.

PlayerPro has its own set of widgets. Why not use those? They're quite customizeable. Personally for my homescreen, I don't use a music widget because the music controls appear on the notification shade for music players. Have you tried those?
