Widget to show IP address

Is there a widget/app to show current IP address?

I need something to show my current IP address.

I've tried a few - but none work
I have Android 9 with Mui11

I want my internet address: e.g., 216.75.876.119

Any suggestions? Seems to simple.

It's great. It stops working after a while. When it stops working, it just stops working - even if you unistall and reinstall.

Worked once. But always now, when I use, doesn't work.

It's pants. Such a simple thing.
I have to launch Chrome and use a Google search: What's my ip to get the IP

I have a solution--but it's very convoluted and I don't think you'll be happy with it.

Install Speedtest. Then, using your launcher's widget function, create an "activities" widget for Speedtest.

Now you have a widget that will give you both of your IP addresses...but only after running a speed test and checking its results.

It'll work, and unless there's just something really odd going on with your device, it'll work consistently. But it won't do what I think you want, i.e., press a button and see your IP address just like that.

Hopefully, a better solution will come along. :)

If you can't find a widget that works consistently this is just a workaround. Make a shortcut for the site you want to go to.

Start up Chrome, go to the https://whatsmyip.com/ site, open the menu button, select 'Add to homescreen' and that should save an icon the screen. Then you just need to tap on that icon to automatically launch Chrome to that web site.
You still have to tap on something to see what you want so this is just saving you a few extra steps. Not as readily available as a widget but also don't forget that every widget you add is something that is constantly running in the background as every widget has to be polling its respective app to keep the displayed information current. It's a minimal battery draw but still a factor.
