I know, I looked at these the first time I saw them and said, "That's just f%cking stupid.". Then, 2 weeks ago, my friend got a pair. We went running, and he just couldn't be happier with them. So, today, I went to our local shoe outlet, and lo and behold, I tried on a pair of these funk-master fingered shoes. They're DAMN comfortable, if I do say so myself! Walking in them felt weird at first, but now my regular tennis shoes feel weird when I put them on again. I do have a feet problems, but since I've started to really get working out in prep for shipping out this December, the pain that was there has been going away.
Of course I looked up how these were designed, reasons for the design, how it helps, yada yada before I up and went to spend $90 (about) on these. Supposedly, they help strengthen your foot by allowing you to have that 'barefoot' running feel and the stress on the foot that entails normally, as our feet aren't really meant at all to have shoes on them (evolution, praise it). I think they honestly, anybody who's having a hard time finding good running shoes, or heck, even good casual non-business type stuff should look into these. At a little more (for me less) than the normal pair of running shoes, I think they're worth a look.
