is there an app that can help me access my computer's files or just make my phone become an external disk over the wifi? if so can u plz tell me which apps or software i need to install? thanks

Go to the market and do a search on wireless tether or wifi tether.

Nope. I use "Wireless Tether", but you need root access for that one.
