Help Wifi and 4G on at the same time?

Hey all:

Just moved from a SGS4 to an SGS5. (Would have preferred to wait for the SGS6 but there was an incident with our clothes washer. Anyway, I digress...) When I'm on wifi, I'll notice that the wifi symbol in the taskbar is white and so is the 4G symbol. On the old SGS4, when on wifi I think the 4G symbol would turn gray to indicate that it's not in use.

Can someone please confirm that 4G is not active at the same time as wifi on the SGS5?

Check the settings to see if Download Booster and/or Smart Network Switch are turned on (these may or may not be on your phone depending on what version/carrier you have).

if WiFi is available, 4g is turned OFF unless you are using TurboBoost which I don't care about anyway.

Just how often would you download a file big enough to warrant a duplex connection?
