Help WiFi and Bluetooth Interference

I've been having problems getting my WiFi and my Bluetooth to work well together. I know why it happens, and I already found another thread with a recommendation. The other post said something about changing the channel the router uses. One problem with that: my dad is the one who manages the router. That solution is not a possibility for me. Any other suggestions? Since this is a general issue among all devices, android or not, I highly doubt my make and model matters.

The most common and successful way to solve WiFi interference problems is to change channel. But if you can't get access to the router to change channel, then you'll have to solve the source of interference. If it's Bluetooth, you'll have to stop using it or maybe try moving things around.

Absolutely sure it's BT causing it? There's also things like microwave ovens, wireless baby alarms, wireless intercoms, wireless security cameras, video senders, cordless phones, etc. that can cause WiFi interference as well, as they're all on the same 2.4GHz ISM band.

I'm pretty sure it's the Bluetooth. When I update apps, my tablet barely downloads with my speaker on, usually about 1-2% per second. I turn off my speaker, 2-3 seconds later, the same update jumps 13-17%.
