WiFi and Data Indicators

Hi everyone. I have android 7.1.2 and I have an issue with the WiFi and Data indicators.
They show a little X at the bottom right corner, and my WiFi connection says "connected, no internet", despite the fact I DO HAVE internet access in both cases.

My phone does that sometimes too. If I were to take a guess, the X shows up when you lose connectivity to Google services, but still have internet connectivity.

Remember Android 4.0? Blue cellular and WiFi signal indicators were connected to G-services, grey indicators were disconnected from them, and no internet connection was the dark grey with the X.
