Help Wifi and Smart Actions Issues

For some reason, my phone has decided in the last week or so to be unable to get on wifi without manually forcing it to do so.

I have all of the location services turned on (which I admit to not fully understanding).

I also had smart actions set to get on my work wifi and home wifi when in proximity. Now, I have to manually make those work as well.

When I check wifi settings, it constantly says "connecting...disconnected" over and over until I manually force it to get on whichever wifi I'm near. Very frustrating.

Anyone know a fix for this????

Are you saying you are keeping wifi off until you are at work or home as detected by GPS?

If so, I would suggest doing the opposite. Keep wifi on all the time and use work and home WIFI as a TRIGGER, to turn on/off things such as GPS, BT, Cell data. It works great.

I also have WIFI set to not notify me of any new networks. I get great battery life.

When at work, I have the smart action turn off BT, GPS, and Cell data. I just don't have a use for those for the 7-9 hours I'll be in the office. I do the same thing at home. That way, as soon as I leave home or work and I'm out of the WIFI signal range, BT, 4G and GPS turn on. If I need BT when at home or work I just manually turn it on.

I do have wifi on all the time.

I think I have the triggers set as location, to turn on the smart actions.

My smart actions are very simple: get on the appropriate wifi based on location, turn ringers down, that's about it.

I don't get it. The only actions available are to turn WiFi on or off. How can you set it to connect to a specific WiFi?

Moreover, it should automatically connect to your preferred WiFi networks when you have Wifi on all day and are in range. You shouldn't even need to set up a smart action.

Copy and Paste your triggers and actions, cause something doesn't add up to me.
