Wifi calling

I really like Google Hangouts. You also need the 'Hangouts Dialer' app to actually do WiFi calls, and a Google Voice number. If you don't already have one there's a lot of features you can use with your GV number, through the browser interface on a computer/laptop too.

Thanks. I remember seeing a few threads about wifi calling but couldn't find any.
I think it would come in handy since I don't have a landline and sometimes need a alternate contact number.
Switched back to Straight Talk today and had issues porting my number. Hard to troubleshoot using the same device and number.
Will give it a try on one of my backup phones.
