Help WiFi connected notification

Is it possible to let the Note 8 notify me when I press the WiFi button and it has connected to the netwotk?

My Note 3 always had an onscreen notification saying I was connected.

I think this is what you want :

Go to Settings > Wifi > Menu > Advanced Settings >Toggle On Wifi Notification

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately I can only get to Settings>Connections>Wifi>Advanced and there is no Wifi Notification there.
I'm on a T-mobile phone. Not sure it matters.

Thanks again

MMMMM. Oh my Verizon Note 8 Wifi Notification is the 3rd item under Advanced.

Here are the steps I'm making: Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi>Advanced (in that section I don't see "Toggle On Wifi Notification".

In that section the third item down for me is something related though "Network Notification"
But the only thing it does is notify me when there are wi-fi networks in the area.
Not when I'm connected to one.

On the Note 3 when I pressed the Wi-fi icon in the notification panel the phone always told me once I was hooked up to my home wi-fi network, or any other network.

Something like "Connected to (network name)" came on the screen.

For me it was great to get that notification on the screen because I can't see the top icons very well at all. They're too small for me to see them

Well that's a bummer that you don't have that option. A suggestion would be to two-finger swipe your notification panel down to display all your quick settings, tap the 3 dots, select button grid, and go with 3 wide. That will make the icons and text a tad bigger, then in the future, you can do the two-finger swipe down just a little until you see your connected WiFi name.

If it makes you feel any better, Verizon took away some good phone features that other carrier models have. They really gyped us of years device maintenance features.

Yeah I know, I am though, so I was just empathizing that t-mobile apparently ripped you guys off regarding the notification you desire, while me being on VZW, got ripped off of different features.

Oh...lol...

Maybe a straight Google phone is the next step.

Wish they made one with a stylus...Oh well
