Hi, I have an Android LG Optimus F5 that seems to be having WiFi connectivity issues. Please bare with me whilst I try to explain the problem.
My device is able to connect to WiFi without any problems, but their is one specific WiFi that other devices can detect, but mine cannot? It seems that only newer modelled Androids and iPhones are able to find this network, and it's infuriating me trying to figure out why this might be. I've tried to put into account that the network may be a hidden SSID, but if this was the case, how come other devices are able to find the network but mine cannot? I also tried putting in the networks details manually to see if that would solve the issue, however it did not.
As I stated earlier, I have never had issues concerning WiFi on my device similar to this at all in the past. It only seems to be with this network. Also I'm not sure if it will make much of a difference, but my devices carrier is Optus Australia.
