wifi connectivity

For some unknown reason I have lost wifi connectivity when I go into settings i see 4 providers talk talk,net gear bonney,sky,and( 8315592after which it says not in range)this I am presuming is virgin media which I use,I don't know why is says not in range as the tablet is set next to the virgin hub,can any one please help solve this problem.My normal broadband connection is working as is my apple tv hard wired.

Is this a tablet? Sounds like the device's WiFi might have died, hardware fault. The WiFi is on but is not receiving anything. You could try resetting it, see if that restores it back to normal, failing that you'll probably have to RMA it as faulty.
 
Thanks for the suggestion,did sort clean install and tried again but it stuck at authentication so I got in touch with supplier virgin media and after giving their technician control of my mac he worked his magic and I am now reconnected.I asked what was the problem and was apparently to do with my password,won't go into all the details but were I should put my password I couldn't because of this problem
