I am working on an app that transmits data continuously (450 bytes) from one phone to another every 5ms using a Wifi Direct connection (sender is Pixel 2 and receiver is Pixel 3). The transport protocol used is UDP. I am noticing random periods of time of 6 to 9 seconds where throughput is horrible. Please take a look at the following graphs, and let me know if this is normal and whether there is anything that can be done about it. Thanks!
