wifi disconnects itself on my htc one x

Can anyone help me please i use my htc one x wifi hotspot to connect to the internet on my laptop, and just recently it has started to disconnect itself after about ony 5-10 mins of an internet connection. Not sure if its a setting i've changed or fault.

Follow these guidelines to solve the issue

1) Goto Settings > wifi
2) Disconnect the present network.
3) Choose your network once again.
4) Check the 'Show advanced options'.
5) Choose 'IP settings' and select 'static' rather than 'DHCP' and
6) Tap 'Connect'.
