wifi error

That's usually caused by a poor connection or invalid password. Check if it works at a public wifi spot. If yes, then you know the area to investigate. If it still fails, then something is wrong with your configuration. You can start troubleshooting by turning on wifi and selecting the name (SSID) of the access point you are trying to connect to. Press Forget, and then start over again with entering password, etc. If it still fails, then verify that you have the correct password (either successfully connect with another device using the same credentials, or obtain admin access to the router/ap and verify). If you get to the point where your logon credentials have been verified as correct but it's still not working, try rebooting the router. I had a router that had a f/w issue whereby it did not clear out the ip address of connected devices. Once the address table filled up, no new devices could connect ("authentication error"). Rebooting the router fixed it
