I was using WebSharing Lite without a hitch until my Verizon router got replaced 2 days ago. Now when I type in the IP address that Websharing provided I can't load the page. Below is what I've done.

1. tried it on another computer.
2. tried another program (Wifi File Transfer)
3. AirDroid works but the program seems very limited and I'm looking for a free or cheap solution. I need to be able to transfer files that are bigger than 1 GB.
4. look in my Verizon router setting and everything looks good that I can tell.

Are you able to browse the internet on wi-fi through the router? I'm wondering if your phone has permissions

Sounds very much like something to do with the replacement Verizon router, given that it worked before and doesn't work with the replacement. It could be configured to prevent devices on the same network from communicating with each other. Often public and hotel WiFi is configured like this as a security measure, to prevent PCs and devices trying to scan, probe and infect each other.

Not sure if Websharing Lite needs it or not, but check Universal Plug and Play(UPnP) is turned on in the router's settings.

Thanks everyone. Mikedt your suggestion was it and as soon as I enabled UPnP it worked again! My new router had that option hidden but I was able to access it by going directly to it with the link below. Had to registered to this forum and personally thank you as you saved me lots of hours. I spend the last 2 days banging my head on the wall trying to find the solution to this issue.
