Root Wifi fix?

The zip file on xda can only be flashed with cwm but there is no way to get cwm on the kyocera phones with the locked boot loader as of right now. If your phone is rooted you can copy and paste to the build.prop but do so at your own risk as anything can happen. Hope this answered your question.

Why u getting from xda the same is a apk in the Google play store . the same zip but able to download and update on its own
 
Thanks for clearing that up for me too. I didn't know there was an app like that. Ill have to give that app a try. What's it called? I used 3g turbo charger with wifi booster or which ever its called to get better wifi and it works good so far on my rise and event.
