WiFi Help Needed

I have a T-Mobile MyTouch phone and find it absolutely great. I could use some help with setting the WiFi. If I connect to my home WiFi, it works well. I'll go out of the house and come back a few hours later and the phone does not automatically connect to my home WiFi. If I go to settings, I can see it detects my home WiFi, but says "Connection unsuccessful, select to try again." When I select it, it connects and works fine.

My problem is, I don't think I should have to physically select my WiFi network everytime I come home. Shouldn't it see it and connect automatically? What am I dong wrong? Do I have a setting turned on/off that should be different?

Thanks,
Frank

I can't tell you too much about it, but try forgetting all wifi networks and reset them back up.

Do you leave the wifi on all the time and use it whenever it's available? Or do you turn it off when you leave the house and turn it on when you are near a wifi network?

Thanks for your help... I'll try deleting all the wifi sites and see what happens. Yes, I do leave the wifi on all the time. I'll let you know what happens with deleting the sites.

murdock1000 (or anyone else with an idea),

I deleted the list as suggested and upon returning home my phone is still not connecting to my wifi unless I manually tell it to connect. Any thoughts?
