Wifi is connected but internet not working

My mobile show connected with wifi router but cant open internet browser on mobi

to the wireless network in range, it says connected with excellent strength. but i am unable to access internet or open any website in my browser 'It say Loading Loading.... and then Retry'. Before this I used WIFI on this mobile

my mobile phone is micromax canvas viva a72

I had the same trouble with my old HTC Eris. You might try setting your router's wireless 802.11 mode setting to Mixed b & g or b only or g only. While the Eris didn't have 802.11n capability, your A72 does. Maybe it just has trouble 'speaking' with your particular router in n mode.

You'll have to check you router manual for instructions on getting into settings. Most of the time they are accessed by entering 192.168.xx.1 into a browser and entering the default user name and password. (xx can be any number, usually 1, 10, or 100, etc.)
