Android Question

Acer Aspire One D257. Have connection to wifi when on WSindows but it will not connect when I'm using Android. What am I doing wrong?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

I think your question is about tethering and getting your Acer Netbook to use, via wifi, the mobile data from your phones internet connection. ie using your phone to create a mobile hotspot.

You have not said what type of phone you have, which version of android it runs and what you have tried so far. As this is not a simple question it would be easier to help you if you registered on the forum for your particular phone and asked the question there, giving as much background information as you can. I'm sure someone will be happy to help you and you would be able to have a "real time" 2 way conversation.

Thanks for asking your question and welcome to AndroidForums.

I understand that you are able to access WiFi through your Acer Netbook, but are having trouble connecting you Android smartphone. I would suggest you read this article below about how to troubleshoot your WiFi connection on your Android device. If this doesn't help, I would recommend joining AndroidForums to search your phone-specific forum and sub-forums for more in depth answers to your question.
