Root Wifi keeps shutting off and on every 5 minutes or so?

So heres my problem- I have a Huawei Ascend 2 2.3.6 from Cricket and my wifi keeps turning off every 5 minutes or so but then turns itself back on within a minute or so.This gets real annoying wen using my wifi to download and surf the web and stuff like that.Wen I got this phone it wasnt rooted but im pretty sure this problem existed pre-rooted.Ive been looking everywhere for a solutiuon so I figured id let the pros take a look :hmmmm::hmmmm:
