WiFi keybord program won't stay open in ICS

trying out that WiFi keyboard and it seems to work, but once the program is open, I can't leave it, or it closes.
Like I see the black screen that gives the IP address info whne you open it, but can't open google vocie or gmail to use the program.
it just keeps closing its self when I click to open a program I want to type in.
