Help wifi KRACK attack fix yet?

I've noticed in http://thehill.com/policy/cybersecu...wi-fi-standard-leaves-all-wireless-networking that there's a wifi security issue to be addressed, and was wondering what the Android fix is, please ... something that will be downloaded as an app update?

The Android Wi-Fi stack isn't anything that can be updated via an app; it will require a full system update.

This is a high-priority issue and I know Google is working hard to get a patch out. I'd expect to see an update roll out "soon" (in the next few weeks, perhaps to be included with the November security patches).

This is where it'll be a good time to run a Custom ROM that can be more easily updated. In fact, LineageOS should have the update out pretty soon, if not already. I know I'll try to be updating Lineage and uploading soon as well
