Help wifi not being detected

Phone is not able to detect any wifi connections. I've tried factory reset but didn't do anything. Any help on this?

Poor quality router, missing SSID broadcast, out of range? I'd need more info to even start to diagnose the issue.

Also, try this:

System Settings > Wifi > Press menu, goto Advanced > Uncheck "Avoid Poor Connections"

I remember that giving me a problem, but I can't recall if the problem was a lack of showing the WiFi signal as detected or if it just refused to connect.

Yes, try setting your router to broadcast the SSID.
