Help WiFi on my phone sucks but my sister has excellent connection even though we are on the same network

As the title says, I'm on the same WiFi network as my sister, but she has a consistently "excellent" connection while mine is only "poor" to "good". She has an HTC one and I have a moto X 2014. I used to have an HTC one as well and had the same problem.

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

Since you've had the same problem with 2 devices, it must be that she typically has a better signal, either stronger or with less interference. You can try changing the router setup to use different channels. Install WiFi Overview 360 to help pick the best channels. The free version should work fine.
