Hi,
After updating to JB this morning i have had problems with the WiFi connecting. It just constantly tries to connect to 1 of the networks i use but won't connect. Turned WiFi off now as it was taking it's toll on my battery.
I contacted Vodafone > Samsung and all i was told was do a factory reset
Before i do that i thought i would ask here to see if anyone had an answer for this.
Thx:smokingsomb:
UPDATE :-
Hi again,
OK so i thought i would reroot my phone (with siyah kernal) then do a recovery to before the JB update and take it from there, reinstall JB and hope that fixed the problem.
Well, after i rerooted the phone the Wifi picked up again right away like it used to. Woohoo. Tried restarting the phone a few times just to check and every time it has picked up the network within seconds
Why? I couldn't tell you, but rerooting seems to have worked
Fingers crossed that will fix the problem. So so glad i never done a factory reset like Samsung advised.
Peace
