Root wifi teather direct to ps3

i always use my laptop to teather my phone to my ps3. but the old lady smashed my laptop the other day....and now no online ps3 play. any way too teather it direct to the ps3?
 
which files do i need too flash? the ones i found didnt work. teathering would not work and the one that was in ap teathering would force close. plus i lost a ton of programs cause for some reason i didnt get a full backup before i flashed it.....
 
after fail fail fail on ps3 internet with ease.... install a hotspot wedget in the market and yes yes YES! i found crap aboit having too flash a file to get the other kind of wifi teathering. no one on the net has ever said just install the hotspot not wifi teathering aps. plus i can hook up more than one thing at a time like this... sweet

i think the wifi tether /wifi hotspot should be stickied too many newbies are asking questions about it and dont relise we dont discuss it much beacause metropcs is starting to cancle accounts cause of the tethering/hotspot. regardless if u have the $60 plan dude ur risking it. just to give u the idea of dumb questions we have had on this forum one of them was how to download torrents while tethering with the samsung indulge now ps3? geeze im sorry but im only giving u the heads up about it.
