I decided against the samsung 10.1 tab with 3g because i was not happy with the conectivity of the unit. I ended up going with the Acer Iconia because it had a multitude of ports including a full sized usb and micro sd card slot.
I figured that because I had a Galaxy S Vibrant, that i could just wifi tether for internet. I used the Mobile AP hotspot and although it worked, the download speeds where no where near what they are on the phone.
The phone gave me 6.5 Mbs dl
and 4.5 Mbs ul
while the tab gave me .05 mbs dl
and .03 mbs ul
Is anyone else who has this problem, or is there anyone who gets better speeds?
I have tried other wifi aps on the market but nothing seems to give better speeds.
