WiFi Things

I don't use wifi often, so didn't notice any problems that I may have had in the 2.x versions. However now with 3.0.1, I can't seem to connect to my home wifi. It dances back forth between scanning/connecting/disconnected. I'm using simple WEP and know the key, but I also set the router open and got the same problem. Sig strength isn't it. Did I miss a problem and fix in the 45 pages on XDA.

No problem here with WiFi. I use it a lot.

I loaded a clean 3.0.1 and still had the problem, so I suspect it's hardware. Terrific.

OK, this is really weird. I saw the other thread about DSP and 3D Gallery, so used Rom Mgr to load them. Now WiFi is working fine.

I've been in computers and software for 40 years, and sometimes this stuff still scares me.

Hah, I cannot imagine any correlation between those changes but I am glad everything is working now.
