Help Wifi won't detect home network

My Ace s5830i does not detect my home wifi network. However, it does detect my neighbors network. I tried entering the code but it doesn't work. I tried restarting the phone but that doesn't work either. I also tried removing the battery and keeping it out for a while but that didn't work as well. The problem occurred after I was done transferring some data in the to my PC. Thanks in advance for replying

Update- It doesn't detect ANY network without using a static IP conenction. However, even with it, it fails to detect the home network.

If it's detecting your neighbor's wifi then it may not be a problem with your device. Did you check your router settings?

Hi,
just rename your network SSID on the router, and you will be ok.

Check the settings called 802.11 n/g/ n/ac

Make sure its set to multi which is b/n/g

what chan is your wifi on? if its on 12,13 or 14, then thats a good chance why it wont see it. some devices only do 1-11(USA) eu is 1-14
