Help Will a 64gb sd card formatted as 32gb work?

Will a 64gb sd card with only the first 32gb work with the optimus l70? I'm wondering so that I won't need to buy another one, when I get my next phone and want to install more games, save all my music on it, etc....

That is a very good question and a good idea. There could be two scenario us that in know of: either the phone will see the card as 32gb supported or it won't see the card at all.

OK, for some reason I thought the specs said the max supported was 32gb.

The max I was told was 32gb also. Do you have the 64 GB partitioned into to 32gb parts? FAT32 and exFAT?

After doing some googling, I see that a 64gb card is sdxc. According to this page, it is supported:

Does the l70 support exfat for the sdcard?

The article lends me to believe it does, but the specs don't mention it.
