will HTC One V use same charger as LG Optimus V

Hi,

About 6 months ago I moved from my LG Optimus V to the HTC One V (and glad I did).
In cleaning some stuff out today I found two of my chargers for the Optimus and the plug does fit into the HTC phone. I don't want to screw up the electronics but wonder whether my Optimus V charger will work to charge the HTC One V?
