My nexus 7 had a broken screen so I bought a lcd and digitizer seperate. The lcd came is so I thought I would test it without the digitizer attached. Should the screen come on without the digitizer attached. Thanks.
So no one has any advice for me. My nexus can be seen by my computer so I know it works but with new screen replacement I get nothing. Would replacing the cable work or most likely a bad lcd.
Sorry that you've not had an answer... not everyone is comfortable with replacing screens/digitizers/etc though - know I wouldn't... just don't trust myself
It is not that bad. Better than putting it in the garbage. I bought the lcd only because it is cheaper to buy the two pieces separate. Not sure what to check next though.
