will overclocking my samsung galaxy mini reset the whole phone?

I have a samsung galaxy mini. I heard that temple run is coming out on android. I wanted to.lay it but my itouch 2g was very lag when i play it so i check the processor it was 533. And my galaxy mini has 600mhz max. I am rooted. So i wanted to overclock it. Can i know wether will my data get wiped if i overclock it to 800mhz. Please help me.i lf it is possible can anybody give me a link to know how to overclock it. I am running android k2.3.4. Help me please.

Is someone here to help, even i want to know how to overclock it to 800mhz, i have tried setCPU but there was no option to overclock it to more than 600mhz.
